Put one in everyone room. Simply take a deep breath, and stare at the flame of the candle while it is lit. Focus in on the area at the base of the wick where the flames color is blue. Watch how the colors subtly change as you stare into the flame. It helps if this is done in a darkened room, however the exercise is effective even while in a brightly lit space.
The researchers at Yale University discovered aroma of spiced apples has a calming effect on many people that tends to lower blood pressure. This is significant since the aromatherapy of an apple bath set fragrance can sooth both physically and mentally.
In reporting this last spring, Dr. Gary Schwartz, director of Yale’s Psychophysiology Center, said the university and the company that financed the research - International Flavors and Fragrances Inc. of Union Beach, N.J. - had applied for a patent on a formulation containing the spiced-apple scent. That is great news for a apple lovers.

A friend of me recently sent me her travel adventures in the city of Morocco. She shared about the unique scenery in the outdoors areas. One description was of a large outdoor plaza within the walls of the Kasbah. The floor was covered with huge rugs as they prepared for some kind of evening event. She describes a room called the rooms of the wives. The windows had bars of heavy iron segments covering them. The purpose of the heavy iron work was to prevent the outside world from seeing in while the wives could see out.
Once in the room, it was easy to see the windows were designed for just that. They were positioned in such a way that someone could easily sit in a chair and see out the window. There were windows positioned to overlook the plaza so the women could watch the goings on during events there. More windows were built into all the other outside facing walls where the wife or wives could see the valleys and mountains surrounding them. The views were breathtaking. The rooms were aglow with aromatic candles. As beautifully tiled, furnished and decorated these rooms once were, the room left a feeling of seclusion, and area imagery was a reminder of centuries of changes.

Some days, speeding through a morning shower just will not do. Racing through your shampoo & rinse ritual – no matter how proud you are of your routine-like hustle – is not going to cut it. Yes, every now and then, we all need to slow down and draw ourselves a warm bath soak. My choice for a bath’s perfect pairing is a lavender bath set. This bath soak employs a problem (tired, aching muscles), solution (mineral-rich salt crystals from the Caribbean), and result (revived muscles, relaxed body, healthy looking skin) method of approach. But unlike your shower routine, you can lay back and let it do the work for you. All the ingredients you need are included in the bath set. Two capfuls of this bath soak transform a tub of bathwater into the spa-like (and guilt-free) downtime that we all deserve.
One way to help reduce stress is with the use of aromatic candles. If you are stressed out, take a candle light bath using the scents for relaxation. Write a poem, a story or read a book while using concentration fragrances. Have a romantic candle lit dinner to scented Aromatherapy candles made to make you feel sensual.
Fragrances to help you relieve stress include lavender, whether the candle fragrance or a lavender bath set, chamomile, geranium and rose. If you are looking to enhance your concentration, you will want to choose a bath set to complement the fragrance of the aromatic candle. Great choices to begin are lemon, lemongrass, orange, grapefruit or bergamot fragrances. Peppermint, spearmint, cinnamon, vanilla and rosemary scented candles will revitalize your body and allow you to gain extra energy. When you want to create a sensual mood and setting, go for vanilla, rose and sandalwood. Make sure to look for “Pure Essential Oils” on labels when shopping for your Aromatherapy candles.
The bust area and buttocks are areas of the body that is often neglected. For many women, these areas do not form part of their regular skincare regime, yet this is the part of the body that is infrequently bared and one of the first areas that shows the signs of ageing and skin damage, as sun exposure, gravity and neglect take their toll.
The beauty of the bust area depends primarily on the quality of the skin, its only support and a comprehensive bust care regime can improve connective skin tissue support and elasticity, hydration and body cream, cellular functioning and oxygenation, resulting in a more toned, lifted and firmed bust area.
