Herbal CleansingA good cleansing program should always begin by removing the waste in your colon, the last portion of your food processing chain. Gastroenterologist, Dr. Anthony Bassler, tells his colleagues, “Every physician should realize that the intestinal toxemia (poisons) are the most important primary and contributing causes of many disorders and the diseases of the human body.”

Many health challenges can be related to organism infestation, improper digestion of food, and inadequate care of our bowels.  However, that is enough already about the internal cleansing.  Our bodies come with a complete system of checks and balances to determine which substances are useful and which are waste. The skin which is the natural protective barrier of the body needs special cleansing as well.  Selecting the proper spa bath set for herbal skin cleanser is of great value. Herbal cleansing may help decrease the risks of developing certain health problems. Whether using bath crystals, organic baths set or other bath and body products, natural scent herbal cleansing products can rid the body of toxins.

Many people who are affected by various health conditions have found that cleansing and nutritional supplementation can help their body rejuvenate itself naturally.

I remember taking a bath in what is called a number three tin tub growing up.  I never thought I would think this, but knowing how to take a bucket bath can be a great skill that comes in handy when you least expect it. Taking a bath in a bucket may not be your idea of exciting experience, but it can be.  If you choose a bucket bath set that consist of a charming wooden bucket, and includes two loofahs, nail brush, hair brush, and mirror you will be glad.

Obviously, if you have a heating or plumbing emergency, knowing how to take a bucket bath can be useful. But bucket baths can also be useful if there’s some reason a person cannot get their whole body wet. Also, taking bucket baths can be economical, since it requires using a limited amount of water and the energy used to heat the water is minimal.  A whirlpool spa bath may be inviting, but nothing compared to a bath set in a bucket.

Aromatherapy SoapsAromatherapy soaps are very popular, and have a variety of uses. Most people pick them based upon scent alone, particularly when it comes to bath and beauty products. But that fragrance can stay on your skin for an extended period of time, and therefore can have an affect on your senses long after you leave the shower. When choosing aromatherapy soap, it is very important to check the label to see what kind of essential oils or fragrances are used in it. Many essential oils are said to have health or medicinal affects, so the fragrance of your aromatherapy soap is very important. What follows is a guide to finding aromatherapy soap to suit some common needs.

In a fast-paced, chaotic world, one of the most demanded types of aromatherapy products are those that have a calming influence. Though there are many that will do this, by far the most popular would be lavender.  Selecting a bath gift set with a pleasant fragrance for your need is a start in the right direction. Taking deep, long breaths as you lather up with lavender promotes serenity and well-being. Other calming fragrances include jasmine, mint tea, and ginger. All have very different fragrance, so the one that will work best for you is simply the one that is most pleasing to your nose.

Cooking up Coconut

Coconut milk is not the juice found inside a coconut, but the diluted cream pressed out from the thick, white flesh of a well-matured coconut.

To make coconut milk, finely grated coconut meat is steeped in hot water until it is cool enough to handle. It is then squeezed until dry; the white fluid is strained to remove all the pulp. When allowed to sit for a while, the coconut cream rises to the top.

For most working women the benefits of coconut milk is well know, but the time to get to it is not available. A bath set of “Pure Pleasure Coconut Milk” bath gel, body lotion, and bath salts is an alternative. American families with limited time to cook, making fresh coconut milk from scratch from a whole coconut is too laborious a process, especially when it can be easily substituted with bath and body products that treats your body and nourishes your soul.

Apple EnergyThe warm scent and flavor of baking apples is a sure sign that fall is just around the corner.  In the Northern Hemisphere apples are in season from late summer to early winter.  Another great source of an apple treat is an apple bath gift basket filled with all the accessories.  However, many varieties are available year round because they have been either kept in cold storage or imported from the Southern Hemisphere.

Apples are crisp, white-fleshed fruits with red, yellow or green skin.  They range in taste from moderately sweet and refreshing to pleasantly tart depending on the variety. The apple is a member of the rose family, with a compartmentalized core that classifies it as a pome fruit.  In addition, apples bath sets provide a great burst of energy for a morning shower.

Yellow VanillaAmong many of my favorite things to do for the holidays is to watch the Christmas movies. Now granted, I own most of these on DVD, and yet every year I prefer to watch them on TV, with commercials.  After a movie, a spa fill with vanilla bath set fragrance brings my evening of movie watching to an end.

It always refreshing and a luxurious body cream is a good choice. A TV, a movie and me, that makes the total package.

Jasmine ParadiseJasmine flowers are used in China in the treatment of hepatitis and dysentery. In India, guests at wedding ceremonies are given jasmine garlands to wear.  Jasmine also makes a delightful fragrance for bath gift baskets. This sophisticated fragrance bath set is an ideal gift for any occasion or as a special treat just for you. Jasmine and pineapple fragrances mingle to create a gentle scent of paradise!

A blend of oils containing jasmine is used by the bride to be to ensure that her skin feels smooth and smells sweet. It is very costly but a little goes a long way and the perfume from this oil lasts a long time.

Scrub TechniquesExfoliating scrubs for the body are an excellent way to enhance skin nutrition and leave a layer of soft, healthy, glowing skin behind. Spa bath sets many times will contain all exfoliating scrub products you need.  The key is selecting the proper spa ingredients.

The most crucial ingredient in exfoliating scrubs is, of course, the exfoliant. An exfoliant abrades the top layer of skin to remove dead skin, and also buffs and polishes the healthy fresh layers underneath. Depending on skin sensitivity, different exfoliants are more suitable than others. If your skin is delicate, exfoliants such as turbinado sugar, fruit seeds and fibers, coffee, or ground loofah are all excellent choices.
